At York Hospital the Medical Assistant is responsible for:

  • Patient assessment
  • Collecting patient vitals
  • Capturing patient information in EMR system
  • Immunizations
  • Medication reconciliation and refills
  • Pre-visit planning
  • Minor walk-in procedures

In order to help us continue to offer exceptional patient experiences, we need you to have the following:

  • Graduate of an approved Medical Assistant Program; will consider other Allied Health credentials (EMTs or CNAs).
  • Current BLS certification (Basic Life Support)
  • Phlebotomy skills preferred but willing to train
  • Teamwork mentality along with excellent customer service skills required
