York Hospital is currently recruiting for a Phlebotomist for our Lab Services. The Phlebotomist is responsible for performing a variety of
functions, including phlebotomy and administrative/clerical duties that ultimately create an exceptional patient experience by fulfilling their
laboratory needs.
Some essential duties include:
Performs phlebotomy in our inpatient, outpatient and Emergency departments.
Obtains test orders from offices as necessary
Resolves ambiguous or late results from reference labs
finalize reference lab results
Receive specimens from offices and distributes test results
Register and greet patients
We require a High School diploma or equivalent and previous phlebotomy experience.
