We have an opening for a Director of Quality. The ideal candidate is passionate about patients and their loved ones, and is committed to the advancement of community health and medicine.
Some essential functions include:
Provide Quality Performance Leadership
Coordinate timely and thorough management of medical staff peer review
Coordinate all RCAS
Responsible for coordinating all state and federal programs compliance
Educates physicians board and leaders regarding national and regulatory
initiatives pertaining to quality and risk management processes
Coordinates all requirements needed for state and other regulatory surveys
Works directly with appropriate staff in review and revisions of policies, protocols,
MAPS/ state and other regulatory agency requirements
Coordinates and submits data for Maine state NSI reports
Requirements:
BSN or Masters in Health related field
Certified in CPHQ (Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality) or must obtain w/in 2yrs.
2 years relevant clinical and workplace experience
Hospital-based quality/risk experience with prior leadership role
Demonstrable success in completing projects to the satisfaction of executive sponsors
Preferred:
Advanced Degree in Public Health, Business Administration, Public Administration, Health Services, or other relevant field
Two years direct experience in healthcare quality improvement program leadership
