We have an opportunity for an experienced Cook in our Dining & Nutrition Team located within the hospital in York, Maine.
The Cook is a member of the Dining and Nutrition Services group and is principally responsible for working closely with the Production Manager and Director of Dining Services to coordinate and prepare attractive, nutrious, and safely prepared food for patients, dining room customers, home delivery clientele, and catered events. The Cook also works closely with the Dieticians/Dietician's Assistants to ensure that prepared food meets guidelines for modified diets for inpatients.
In order to help us continue to offer exceptional Patient/Customer experiences, we require:
High school diploma + one year of culinary arts training
Food handlers (ServSafe) certification
Minimum one year fine dining experience
